0-60 fails every time

I've been trying to get the 0-60mph timer to work with an ODBKey (Bluetooth) on my Ford Mondeo 2011 (automatic gearbox).
It displays 'ready', then when I push the accelerator, it begins to show dots, but then shows a big X.

Any idea what might be causing this ?

On a sidenote : the L/100km fuel usage calculation is completely wrong in my car, showing higher numbers when I drive at lower rpm and always showing MUCH higher numbers than the car itself.

Hi

Have you set the fuel type and engine size in the vehicle profile? these have a direct effect on the calculated MPG.

Spinning the wheels will currently invalidate the 0-60 readings.

i get the same thing, keep getting the x, does it with all the 1/4 mile, 0-60, etc wonder if changing the code to no stop till you reach distance or speed would be possible so when you stop and get the ready it run till gps shows distance or speed you trying to get to. even if takes few mins for 1/4 mile.

Same here. No 0-60, 0-100, 1/4mile etc.
Whatever I do, after some seconds, I get the X.
Even if I don't spin the wheels (Traction Contorl ON),
after the firat shift comes the X. This function relly needs a re-design.

Funnily tho , it bugged once for me.
Said I did 1/8 mile in 1,9 sec and 1/4 in 4,0 sec... hae hae x)!

Hi Ian!

Do these timers need an OBD adapter connected and running to function correctly? I was playing around with it while I wait for my adapter to come in the mail. I'm having the same problem with my 0-60mph, 0-100kph, 1/8 and 1/4 mile times. I'll come to a complete stop, the displays will say "Ready". Sometimes while stopped the display will blink from "Ready" to "X". When it says Ready, I hit the accelerator, and the display changes to an X. Sometimes I get a dot or two that shows up that indicates it's calculating, but it soon changes to an X. It seems to happen just about the time the car shifts gears, as the slight deceleration might trigger the X. I know I'm not spinning my wheels, a 2002 NA Subaru Forester on dry road doesn't have that much torque. I'll post a log if that helps.

I'm running Torque v1.4.70 on and HTC Aria.

Edit: Well, I suppose I'm a bit blind. While customizing other displays, I noticed the timers above were -not- highlighted in green. I suppose they do need an adapter. My fault!

Version 1.4.70 should fix this, I just saw: http://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=3.0

Are there more peoples that experienced the 0-100 worked after the fix of the latest update?

edit: it works now!
