Post how to adress actuators?
on: July 13, 2015 (GMT)

hello :)

how can I write a value into the car to control an actuator like the battery cooling fan of a Toyota Prius? There are PIDs for the single speed Levels but what can I do with them.
If i select them, they are just a Display value. I cannot turn them on or of.

And there is this “push button”, in the settings you have to „Set command to send“ as a „raw OBD command to send“. how does that work? Does it have something to do with the above written PIDs?

greets
Hannes

There’s this on the unofficial wiki: http://torquebhp.wikia.com/wiki/Prius_ZVW35_PIDs

But I don’t know how to use them. My car is an ancient Chevy and I haven’t seen any “write” PIDs for it.

Thank you!

that works, I can now Switch on the fan of the hybrid battery. turning off the app also stops the fan.
