OK… So I have to write this string: ATSP5\nATAL\nATIB10\nATSH8110FC\nATST32\nATSW00

BUT… do I have to write those “\n” -marks also or this way:
ATSP5 ATAL ATIB10 ATSH8110FC ATST32 ATSW00

?

Yes… they represent new line feed
before executing the next command(s).

(Custom configuration string field at end
of vehicle profile).

Search thread… “OBD for Japanese Cars” for
additional info.

Doesn’t work yet… :-)

I wrote this string and now when trying to connect to ECU it says “Checking model…” (or something like that, I don’t have english version of Torgue). Model of ECU??? How long this should take?
If I look “Adapter Status” – “Adapter errors”. There’s 0 errors, but sometimes over 10 “other faults”.
Do I have to check the box “Use alternative OBD…” ?

Sorry, I’m not knowledgeable about your
vehicle. Is it possible that your Nissan
speaks Consult and requires a specific adapter?

http://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=1793.1

Torque Wiki shows a specific adapter for Nissan
Consult.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will
respond.

Sorry… I don’t understand. :-)
Can you explain what I have to do with Torgue?

specify the version of the adapter
you must set the preferred protocol ISO 15765-4 (11/500)
and prescribe the initialization string
ATSP6\nATSH7DF

All right… now I got connection to ECU. But no data. And connection to ECU stop working after about 1-2 minutes. And when I look “Adapter Status” – “Adapter errors”. There’s 0 errors, but still over 10 “other faults”.

I check “Test Results” and it says “ECU does not appear to support MODE S06”

Adapter version is 2.1

Give a link to the adapter
screens on the status of the adapter, which is determined by the protocol
terminal program to check the responses to requests:
atz
atal

ATZ gives “ELM327 v2.1”
ATAL gives “?”

your adapter version 2.1 will only run on a standard protocol EOBD
your car should work on EOBD CANNES
set TORQUE Lite(free) and try to connect to the car

Not working with Lite version:
– first looks good; checking protos
– connecting to OBD
– OBD not found

Should I change some settings?

How do you set the proto manually ? Is it different in the Lite version ? I don’t seem to have anything in the Settings menu that depicts “change from auto to manual”

I think it’s Menu>Settings>”Select What to Log” menu option? When I press the ‘Select What to log’ menu option, it takes me to a new screen and briefly shows a pop-up stating “Press ‘Menu’ to add extra OBD PIDs to log”. The Samsung Galaxy S5 does not have a menu button.
