Can not connect to the ECU. I just recently bought the ELM 327 and it came with a software disc which has some nice programs and manuals. I have a Samsung Galaxy ACE and a 07 Sonata GLS & 05 1500 Silverado LT. I can connect to the ELM 327 in both vehicles but the BT Adapter can only talk to my Sonata’s ECU. It will not talk to my Silverado ECU. I have read a bunch on the typical issues and gone through all the options and still cannot get it to work on my Silverado. Please help me. Thank You.

Some cheap adapters work with some
protocols but not others like PWM, VPW
or ISO.

This is likely your problem. There is a
READ ME thread which tries to assist
with connection issues.
