hi I am getting a service 4 wheel drive message on my 2004 avalanche. I tried the free version of torque but it shows no fault codes. will the paid version read that code?
if not what will?

I can only suppose it is not shown as a fault becasuse it isnt…
Service messages arent faults.
Is the check engine light on?
If it is then an error should be shown in Torque. The paid version is more aggressive in scaning than the free one.
If its not then it does as it should. Not showing an error cause there isnt one to show.

its an error code and the shift selector is not working. I have read on the internet that you need a more professional scanner to read the tccm code but thought maybe the pay version of torque might get the job done.
