Post Transmission Temp on a Trailblazer
on: February 15, 2011 (GMT)

I have a 2006 Chevy LT Trailblazer 4.2 I6 with the paid version of torque. I noticed that the transmission temp doesn’t work and was wondering if there was anyway to fix this? I also noticed that the fuel gauge doesn’t work either not like that is much of an issue.
Any help would be grateful, Thanks.

You can try the PID from here…
http://www.scangauge.com/support/pdfs/XGAUGE.pdf

PID 221940

Equation
(A-40)*(9/5)+32

Thanks for the help, I’ll give that a shot as soon as I get home today.

Humm, that didn’t work. I’ll mess around with it some more, any other ideas?

Ok well it kind of works now, it didn’t work sitting in the driveway so I went for a drive and it started working.

I put in PID 221940
and changed the equation to
((A-40)*(9/5))+32

It almost seems like it only updates once though, not like the coolant constantly changing.
Any thoughts?

Hi

It looks like I may still need to a little work on the transmission temperature as many manufacturers appear to implement it in slightly different ways.

After 1.4.6 is out (which has a little more debug in so I can see what is going on, on some particular vehicles) I’ll be spending more time looking at it with a view to getting it finished.

Ok sounds good. So I have it setup correctly? You just have to make changes in the future updates and this will hopefully work correctly soon?

Oh and also thanks for the help and this amazing product!!

Are there any updates to this?

Thanks,
